“The Olive Bunch” with a Kids Kino Industry Award at CEE Animation Forum. Congrats!

Each year we have an honour to choose one of the projects presented at the CEE Animation Forum to be shown at Kids Kino Industry. This time we are delighted to give our award to the creators of “The Olive Bunch” from Cyprus.

Winner of Kids Kino Industry Award:

“The Olive Bunch”

Produced by Maria Pavlou, directed by Magnus Krĺvik

The award was given by Maciej Jakubczyk, the Head of the Education Department of the New Horizons Association, Katarzyna Janiak, Project Manager of Kids Kino Industry and Viola Gabrielli, Head of Programme of Kids Kino Industry.

Our motivation:

We’ve decided to award the project which stands for the value that we really appreciate, as the team of the project named it themselves, the value that is called carefree childhood. This project stands for the adventure happening outside the home, with the parents a little bit away from kids, an adventure among peers. We also like this project very much for its very nice, careful visual style, which makes it kids-friendly and captivating.

See you in September!

The chosen project will be presented at the KKI forum in September. The creators of the project “The Olive Bunch” have been given the accreditation which includes: full access to all events held during the KKI, opportunity to meet with invited Decision Makers, as well as free accommodation.

“The Olive Bunch”

“The Olive Bunch” is an adventure comedy show, featuring three best friends embarking on a coming-of-age journey, in a world wedged between strong traditions and the mystical world lurking beneath the surface.

The project, produced by Maria Pavlou from Pixelgiants, directed by Magnus Krĺvik, joined the “No Happily Ever After”, which was already preselected by us at the CEE Animation last autumn and “Game of Minds” preselected at M:brane.

The call for submission for 2021 Kids Kino Industry is now open!
